DBIS - InCites

InCites is a tool for research evaluation on the Internet based on publication and citation data from the Web of Science. It can be used to carry out productivity analyses for research areas and compare the results with other institutions as part of a global benchmarking exercise.
InCites provides information such as:

the number of articles published by an institution/country
the most successful publications in a subject area
the most successful authors/young researchers locally and globally
the H-index of researchers and institutions
changing research priorities
the average citation rate overall and by subject area
the most productive subject areas and areas with potential for improvement
collaboration/networking with other disciplines and institutions

InCites offers a wide range of individual reporting functions and graphical representations. Reports and diagrams can be exported in various formats (e.g. as PDF files).
The basis is standardized address data from over 5000 institutions worldwide from all Web of Science Core Collections since 1980.
