Making the spiritual cultural heritage centrally visible is one of the central functions of the cultural and knowledge portal in Thuringia, which was developed under the leadership of the Thuringian University and State Library Jena (Thulb). The portal shows over a million data records and digitizers of more than 100 Thuringian archives, libraries and museums and presents them online.
Kulthura offers a cross -inventory search across all collections and objects. To narrow down the research can be filtered according to the following categories:

owning institution / data provider
object types
projects, collections, topics
People/Institutions

The digitalizers contained in the database are diverse indexed. Texts are partly in the original and in the transcription, images are precisely described, personal data have been enriched and standardized with the corresponding GND data sets.
