As a work-in-progress, the long-term project edits the overall correspondence of the composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (1809-1847) in the form of a digital, scientific-critical online edition (FMB-C: Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Correspondence). The edition includes the diplomatic reproduction of more than 7,400 letters, text-critical, contents and context-related comments, a personal and work database, a life chronology of Mendelssohn as well as numerous registers (for letters, works, places and bodies).
