DBIS - MLA International Bibliography with Full Text

The MLA International Bibliography is the most important bibliography in the areas of literature, linguistics (including artificial and sign languages) and cultural studies of all modern philologies.
The following subject areas are taken into account: language, literature, linguistics, cultural studies, English/American studies, German studies, classical philology, oriental studies/other languages, Romance studies, Slavic studies. Areas of the other humanities are also covered.

The MLA International Bibliography with Full Text includes the entire MLA International Bibliography. Over 6,000 journals (see MLA Directory of Periodicals) are continuously evaluated, as well as representative collections, series, conference reports, commemorative volumes, reference works, references from the dissertation abstracts and, to a lesser extent, monographs.
The MLA International Bibliography with Full Text contains over 1,000 titles in full text, including many of the most frequently used journals in the MLA International Bibliography such as Modern Philology, Critique and Women’s Studies, as well as content from renowned publishers such as Taylor & Francis, Duke University Press and Wiley-Blackwell as well as backfiles from the last three years for the top 100 journals and backfiles up to the first issue for over 45 journals.
Not included are primary literature (except for critical editions) and reviews (except for longer reviews articles).
The MLA begins primarily with the 1920s and contains more than 2.8 million bibliographic references. It has an annual increase of around 70,000 citations.
Since April 2008, the MLA has also contained abstracts, e.g. from PMLA, Project Muse, JSTOR and German Quarterly.
Since December 2012, the database has also contained individual references to book reviews and, for some articles, a list of the cited literature (cited references) and a separate search option for it.
The MLA Thesaurus contains over 68,000 technical terms and 520,000 names.
