Das Saarland verfügt über kein biografisches Lexikon zu den Persönlichkeiten des regionalen Lebens. Auf dieser Internetseite entsteht daher seit Herbst 2007 das Internetprojekt Saarländische Biografien, das zukünftig auch als Buch veröffentlicht werden soll. In die Biographie werden allein verstorbene Personen aufgenommen.
