Dynastische Eheverträge der Frühen Neuzeit (1500-1800)

The early modern period of 1500–1800 is part of the sub-project A03 Dynastic marriage contracts and insurance in the Collaborative Research Center/Transregio 138 Dynamics of Safety at the Philipps University Marburg, the Justus Liebig University in Gießen and at the Herder Institute for Historical Eastern Central Europe Research in Marburg. Marriage contracts between Fürstenhäuser, of which at least one had royal status at the time of the marriage, were included in the database and evaluated. The safety aspects relevant to early modern actors are systematically recorded and developed. The database offers the evaluated marriage contracts that are linked to further information and contain information in which archive or edition the complete contract text can be found. If digitalizers of the sources are available on the web, they will also be linked.
