The Making of Modern Law : Trials 1600-1926 / MOML 3 continues and complements the databases MOML 1 and 2 already in national license. This concludes the collection. The full text database contains documents, reports and literature on legal proceedings in America, the British Empire and France from the period 1600-1926, including particularly spectacular legal proceedings against historical personalities, artists etc. (e. g. Charles I, Oscar Wilde, Sacco and Vanzetti, Jeanne d'Arc). The "unofficial published accounts of trials, official trial documents, briefs and arguments" are important source material for legal, cultural and social history. More than 10,000 titles from the Harvard and Yale law libraries, the Library of the Bar of the City of New York and the Law Library of Congress are available. The approx. 2,000,000 pages can be researched in full text.
