Frantext

Extensive collection of 5,703 texts and around 273 million words (as of July 2025) of French and Francophones Literature from the 9th to the 21st century, which documents the use of the written French language. It includes works the beautiful literature (90%) as well as scientific texts such as essays, treatises or correspondence (10%). A partial corpus of 1,940 prose texts from the 19th and 20th centuries with a total scope of around 127 million words is Morphologically annotated, so that in addition to the full text search, differentiated search functions for linguistic studies on Available.
