Digitized editions of international art, literary and music magazines, especially from the period 1848 - 1923. The magazines made available by various institutions represent important source material for research into contemporary artistic and literary movements with a focus on the avant-garde and modernity.
The following are available for research: full-text search in the journal contents (quick search and advanced search), browsing list of journal titles, access via publication year/date.
Essays or individual issues can be printed out. For this purpose, either the Issue PDF function and/or the Clip this article function are available in the magazine view.
The database will be further expanded in terms of reporting time and cover material.
