Die Encyclopedia of Ukraine wird derzeit vom Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies aufgebaut und soll in einer ersten Phase die aktualisierten und erweiterten kompletten 5 Bände der Encyclopedia of Ukraine (1983-1993, Univ. of Toronto Press) umfassen. Bisher sind allerdings erst 19 % davon verfügbar (März 2010). Es werden umfassende Inhalte zu Geschichte, Bevölkerung, Geographie, Wirtschaft, Kunst, Literatur und Kultur in englischer Sprache eingebracht.
