The German photo library in the Saxon State Library- State and University Library of Dresden is a universal photo archive on art and cultural history. Of the over 4 million archived picture documents in the German photo library, around 1.8 million recordings from the collections of the photo library and from the collections of partner institutions can be researched online and freely. The number of digitized photographs is constantly being expanded. The image search takes place via a meta search, via filter (photographer, shown, ...) or via catalogs (local catalog, various thematically subdivided catalogs).
