OLC Südasien - Online Contents

The database OLC South Asia contains tables of contents of relevant journals. It is continuously supplemented by selected journal titles of the responsible special subject collection library at the South Asia Institute of the University of Heidelberg. This special collection area includes: - Regional: India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Tibet, Bhutan, Maldives. Subject: language, literature, folklore, history (including social and economic history), religions and philosophy, politics, constitution, administration, publications on parties and associations, anthropogeography and regional studies, art, music, theatre and dance in their traditional forms. Currently, more than 290 journals are evaluated, usually from the year of publication 1993 onwards, which means that the database currently contains approximately 269,000 articles and reviews from the field of South Asia (status: July 2018). Access is free for all institutions in the science and higher education sector of the Federal Republic of Germany, Europe and the USA.
