Ethnographic Video Online: Volume I

Die Datenbank umfasst mehr als 1.000 Filme mit ca. 730 Stunden Video-Material, die zwischen den Jahren 1922 und 2012 entstanden sind. Enthalten sind v.a. ethnologische Filme, filmische Feldforschungsberichte und Dokumentarfilme aus der ganzen Welt und größtenteils in englischer Sprache, darunter Filme der BBC und der Non-Profit-Organisation Documentary Educational Resources (DER).
Die in der Datenbank enthaltenen englischsprachigen Transkriptionen laufen parallel zum Film mit und sind im Volltext durchsuchbar. Beigefügt ist eine detaillierte Bibliographie der enthaltenen Quellen. Die Filme lassen sich über gängige Internetbrowser und den Adobe Flash Player nutzen. (Video-Streaming-Portal)
