Corpus search is a low-threshold tool that decreases the wording of complex search queries to the interested lay and interdisciplinary audience and thus also allows extensive research in low-sorbic texts with simple search expressions. This eliminates the need for incoming knowledge of the different legal nature of older texts (orthographic variance) and the variety of forms of words in the Lower Sorbian language (morphological paradigm) as well as technical questioning formulations (regular expressions).

The texts that were prepared for the corpus search come from the following sources:

the latest Lower Sorbian literature (from 2019)
Zeitungskorpus (1947–2016)
Historical literature (Lower Sorbian Digital Library)
Niedersorbisches Referzkorpus

The database is continuously expanded.
