Historische Ortsnamen

Der hier bereit gestellte Dienst basiert auf der Reihe historischer Ortschaftsverzeichnisse für ehemals zu Deutschland gehörige Gebiete, die vom BKG zur Bearbeitung von Staatsangehörigkeitsfragen herausgegeben wurden. Der digitale Ortsnamenbestand reicht heute über den der analogen Verzeichnisse hinaus. Zeitlich umfasst der Datenbestand Ortsnamen in ihrer Chronologie von 1900 bis 1993.
