Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes

Begun as a project in 1999, this virtual library has grown into a comprehensive repository of Spanish and Hispano-American literary and cultural history. It assembles full texts as well as facsimiles and bibliographies, and even an archive of audio files. The library focuses on presenting these three topics:

1. presenting the most outstanding works of Spanish and Latin American literary history, in full where permissible, and with an extensive bibliographical apparatus,
2. access to documents pertaining to Spanish and Latin American history with bibliographic notes,
3. full text editions of contemporary literature - see for example the portal on Gonzalo Rojas - and updates on new releases.

Content is curated by a staff of experts in their respective fields.
