Bosls Bayerische Biographie

Karl Bosl (1908-1993) was one of Bavaria's most famous regional historians and medievalists. He completed his habilitation in medieval history at the University of Munich and then taught as a private lecturer in Munich and Würzburg. As part of his teaching activities, Bosl published numerous works on the history of Bavaria.

"Bosl's Bayerische Biographie" contains the life dates and stages of 9,000 people from business, politics, society, science and art from 15 centuries. The database is offered via the platform bavarikon and contains the works digitized in full text by the Regensburg University Library
