Baydat - The Bavarian dialect database brings together the individual databases of all Bavarian language atlas projects in a large database.
As part of the Bavarian language atlas (BSA), the dialects of the respective region were recorded for many years at the Bavarian Universities of Augsburg, Bayreuth (Language Atlas from Northeast Bavaria), Erlangen, Passau and Würzburg. These are dialect data that comes from surveys in a total of 1613 Bavarian towns.
