The National Technical Reports Library (NTRL) of the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) is the largest database to prove published results of state-funded research and development projects in the USA. It includes all areas of science, engineering and technology. NTRL allows the search in the bibliographical information and abstracts of more than 3 million research reports (reports) and other publications by over 600 US government agencies or their contractors, e.g. Department of Commerce, Department of Defense, Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Transportation, Environmentally Protection Agency (EPA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (Nist), National Institute of Health and many others. The full texts of more than 800,000 documents are available as PDF files for free download.
