Eurostat

Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union. The office creates statistics for the EU and provides these for the EU institutions as well as for authorities of the member states, companies and media. The statistics allow, for example, comparisons of countries or regions. They support the decision making process of the EU bodies and make it possible for the public to monitor and understand these decisions. Besides data and statistics, the website also provides the publications of Eurostat, for example, books, reports and brochures. The website and its content are accessible in English, German, and French.
