Sprachwissenschaftliche Arbeiten zu Lehnwörtern aus dem Deutschen in anderen Sprachen

SALDAS is an online bibliography of Slinguistic works on Lloan words from D German in Aother S languages. The bibliographic database currently primarily lists publications that deal with German loanwords in Polish, Russian, Belarusian or Ukrainian.
The subject of the bibliography is the scientific literature on German lexical borrowings (loan words, loan translations and loan formations) in other languages (also in certain diachronic, diatopic and diastratic varieties). Both borrowings that can be described as the result of “direct” language contact between German and another language are taken into account, as well as those that were “indirectly” borrowed from German into the target language via the mediation of a third language. The mediating role of German itself (e.g. from Latinisms, Gallisms, etc. into another language) is also the subject of SALDAS. All periods and dialects of High and Low German are taken into account, as are borrowings from Germanic and West Germanic as well as from Yiddish.
