Die neu konzipierte und implementierte Datenbank enthält derzeit mehr als 65.000 Titeldaten (Stand: März 2014) aus dem Bestandskatalog der Bibliothek des Bach-Archivs Leipzig und den Daten der Bach Bibliography von Prof. Yo Tomita (Queens University, Belfast).
Neben Literatur zu Johann Sebastian Bach ist der Fokus der Bibliographie auch auf die gesamte Bach-Familie und die Bach-Söhne Wilhelm Friedemann, Carl Philipp Emanuel, Johann Christoph Friedrich und Johann Christian Bach gerichtet. Verzeichnet werden selbständige und unselbständige Schriften, Monografien, Zeitschriftenaufsätze, Rezensionen, elektronische Publikationen und Musikdrucke in den Sprachen Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch und Spanisch.
