Der VK Noten ermöglicht die gezielte Recherche nach den online erfassten Notenbeständen sowohl der wissenschaftlichen als auch der öffentlichen Bibliotheken und ist zunächst auf Berlin beschränkt: Beteiligt sind die Bibliothek der Humboldt-Universität, die Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin Preußischer Kulturbesitz, die Universität der Künste und die Musikbibliotheken des VÖBB mit der Zentral- und Landesbibliothek Berlin.
