Die im Jahr 2000 veröffentlichte Encyclopedia of World Problems and Human Potential Online ist ein Forschungsprojekt der Union of International Associations (UIA). Sie sammelt und präsentiert Informationen über Probleme der Menschheit, sowie deren Herausforderungen, die mit Begriffsbildung, Werte- und Entwicklungsstrategien einhergehen. Das Nachschlagewerk, das sich seit 2013 in einem Neuentwicklungsprozess befindet, besteht aus folgenden sechs Datenbanken, die sich gegenseitig ergänzen:
