This digital cultural property register provides comprehensive information about essential identity characteristics of the city of Vienna. It enables access to an extensive map material, shows the cultural -historical and urban planning development of Vienna from the early days to the present and makes detailed information about cultural goods such as buildings, monuments, archaeological objects and works of art.

In the first stage of expansion (as of February 2010), the following subject areas are offered for research:

architecture
works of art in public space
city history
City Archeology
art collection of the cultural department - Musa Museum on demand
museums, collections and theater

The web portal was created in cooperation with several magistrate departments of the city of Vienna (MA 7 - Culture, MA 8 - City and State Archives, MA 19 - Architecture and Urban Design and MA 14 - Automation -supported data processing) and is continuously expanded in terms of content.
