Bei RECERAT handelt es sich um ein gemeinschaftliches Repositorium von katalanischen Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen.
So werden auf dieser Plattform bisher unveröffentlichte Artikel (Preprints), Konferenzbeiträge, Forschungsberichte, Arbeitspapiere, Abschlussarbeiten (Bachelor, Master), Dissertationen und technische Berichte dauerhaft bereitgestellt. Alle Dokumente werden unter einer Open-Access-Lizenz veröffentlicht, die eine nicht kommerzielle Nutzung erlaubt. In der Regel sind die Publikationen zudem im Volltext durchsuchbar.
