Dargestellt sind vor allem Professoren der Universität Gießen sowie Gebäude der Universität. Teilbestand: Visitkarten des 19. Jahrhunderts. Der größte Teil der Fotos ist digitalisiert. Umfang: ca. 3.900 unterschiedliche Fotos und Dias, ca. 370 Grafiken (Originale + Fotos von Grafiken).
