SocioHub / Fachinformationsdienst Soziologie

The portal is aimed at scientists in sociology or social sciences. The focus of the FID sociology funded by the DFG is the improvement of scientific information supply and the promotion of research communication within sociology. The portal platform contains three central building blocks (research module, collaboration portal and open access component) and serves as a central entry point for the information supply to sociological research. Sociohub is available to everyone interested and offers additional functionalities for registered users. B. the creation of your own profiles that go beyond the pure research. In the literature research, research elements are established in sociology, including Social Science Open Access Repository (SSOAR) or Socindex, integrated and enriched with a document delivery service (subito). The focus is not on the acquisition, but on the open access provision of subject-specific full texts-in particular highly special literature to supplement the local basic needs. The aim is to enable location -independent, fast and direct access to literature and research -relevant information.
