DBIS - Macmillan Cabinet Papers

The collection contains over 30,000 pages of original documents from the reign of British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan. Among other things, the collection contains all cabinet decisions and memoranda, documents from the Prime Minister's office and correspondence with leading contemporary politicians (Acheson, Adenauer, de Gaulle, Dulles, Eisenhower, etc. ). The collection is an important source for British politics as well as for international relations and conflicts in this phase of the Cold War.
