Jüdisches Leben in Bayern

In 2021, the House of Bavarian History (HdBG) set up a constantly expanding internet platform on Jewish history in Bavaria. The project brings together the HdBG's existing projects on Jewish cemeteries and on monuments and memorial plaques for Jewish soldiers of the First World War. In addition, the former and existing Jewish communities and synagogues in what are now Bavaria's borders are presented on the platform. Another function is the constantly growing database of Jewish biographies, which is linked to the HdBG database "People from Bavaria". Source editions and examples from the HdBG's extensive contemporary witness project complement the other offerings.
