Dieses Archiv enthält ca. 30.000 Farb- und Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografien asiatischer Kunst und Architektur. Aufgebaut wurde die Sammlung von den Kunsthistorikern John C. und Susan L. Huntington während der Jahre 1969-1984. Sie umfasst die Länder Afghanistan, Bangladesch, Indien, Indonesien, Myanmar (Birma), Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka und Thailand. Die frühesten abgebildeten Werke datieren aus der Zeit um 2500 v.Chr. und reichen bis in die Gegenwart. Die breit angelegte Sammlung ist in erster Linie auf buddhistische Kunst spezialisiert, doch sind auch hinduistische, jainistische und islamische Kunstwerke repräsentiert. Das Huntington Archive enthält darüber hinaus die größte fotografische Sammlung nepalesischer Kunst und Architektur.
