The FIS Education literature database provides bibliographical information (including controlled keyword lists with automatic synonym comparison and mostly short abstracts) on journal articles, monographs, contributions from collective works, grey literature and online documents on the following subject areas: empirical educational research, educational administration, educational policy, educational history, school and teaching, higher education, vocational training, vocational education and continuing vocational training, childhood, child care, youth education, adult and continuing education, social and special education, media education, subject didactics, educational psychology. Around 550 specialist journals are evaluated.
