This leading international bibliography on the Europan Middle Ages (ca. 300-1500 A.D.) follows a multidisciplinary approach and is compiled by a worldwide team of experts (list of contributors available on website). IMB is complemented by two more databases, Bibliographie de Civilisation Medievale and International Bibliography of Humanism and the Renaissance, together totalling in almost 900.000 records (status as of 2018).
