DBIS - JSTOR

JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million academic journal articles, books, and primary sources in 75 disciplines. Specifically, full runs of more than 2600 top scholarly journals are made available through cooperation with publishers worldwide. Access to ongoing periodicals may be subject to a moving wall for recent issues. All journal content in JSTOR published prior to 1923 in the United States and prior to 1870 elsewhere is freely available to anyone, anywhere in the world. Additionally, over 70.000 books can be accessed as DRM-free digital copies. Primary source materials are compiled in four collections: Global Plants, 19th Century British Pamphlets, Struggles for Freedom: Southern Africa, and World Heritage Sites: Africa. The more than 2 million primary sources include not only text documents but also artifacts and specimens that have been scanned at high resolution.
From 2022, JSTOR will also include Artstors holdings; these will be searchable on the JSTOR interface within the search over the entire content, but also in a separate image search. Institutions with an Artstor licence can also use the Artstor content on the JSTOR interface.
