The online offering "1914-1918-online. International Encyclopedia of the First World War" provides a comprehensive open-access encyclopedia of the "Great War". Several hundred historians from over fifty countries present the latest research results on the history of the World War.
The encyclopedia, which is written entirely in English, follows the principle of multi-perspectivity not only in the context of the encyclopedia articles, but also through intensive networking with other online offerings and additional library holdings.
