Das American Verse Project der University of Michigan Humanities Text Initiative (HTI) wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit der University of Michigan Press hergestellt. Ein durchsuchbares elektronisches Archiv bietet Zugriff auf amerikanische Lyrik im Volltext bis 1920. Hierfür wurden ca. 170 Lyrik-Sammelbände ausgewertet. Überwiegend handelt es sich um Lyrik des 19. Jahrhunderts, enthalten sind jedoch auch einige Texte des 18. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts.
