The Institute for Iberoamerican Studies (IIK) in Hamburg, now GIGA-Institute for Latin American Studies (ILAS), published the \\"Spiegel der Lateinamerikanischen Presse - Boletin de Prensa Latinoamericana\\" from 1974 to 1998. These press reviews have now been digitised, resulting in over 37.000 individual newspaper articles on the political, economical, and social situation in Latin America being researchable online. For reasons of copyrighting, the digitisations themselves can only be accessed directly at the GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies in Hamburg, in the Staats- und Universitaetsbibliothek Hamburg and at the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut (IAI) in Berlin.
