DBIS - JoVE Video Journal

Jove is a scientific journal with peer review that publishes the experiments from the Life Sciences on video (video streaming portal). In addition to the videos, the instructions and methods for carrying out the experiments are also available as a PDF. The aim is to improve reproducibility and transparency in experiments.

Transcripts are available for numerous videos that run parallel to the film (activation via the CC button in the video). This allows you to follow the spoken content barrier -free. Transcripts are available in numerous languages as well as the soundtrack.

Jove videos can be integrated into teaching via Moodle. A distinction is made in the Education area between:
- Jove Core (video textbooks for the beginning)
- Science Education (videos for advanced students)
- Lab Manual (laboratory instructions for the beginning)
Individual playlists can be created. In addition, quiz are available for reuse.

Description	The University of Graz licenses the peer-reviewed journal Neuroscience, Science Education Videos with basic and educationally adapted materials on Psychology (Behavioral Science, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Neuropsychology, Sensation and Perception, Social Psychology) and the Core Collection Social Psychology (animated video lessons on the most important approaches in social psychology as well as videos of scientists conducting research experiments).
