Nutzungsbedingungen für die "Visible Body Web Suite" (Auszug aus dem Lizenzvertrag)

2.2 Throughout the Subscription Period, Authorized Users may:
2.2.1 access the Server by means of a Secure Network, or by entering an activation code supplied by Argosy, in order to use the Visible Body software and content to view, retrieve, and display portions thereof;
2.2.2 print out single copies of screen shots generated by the user of the Visible Body software and content, provided that the screen shots do not contain histology, CT, MRI, or cadaver slice images;
2.2.3 use the Visible Body software and content in lectures, seminars and courses for Authorized Users;
2.2.4 use screen captures of the Visible Body software and content in printed or electronic course handout materials, provided (1) that the materials are not sold in any form, (2) that the materials do not support ad revenue, (3) that the screen shots do not contain histology, CT, MRI, or cadaver slice images, and (4) that the content includes “Image courtesy of Visible Body” displayed with the image or video;
2.2.5 use screen captures of the Visible Body software and content in printed or electronic student papers, presentations, course packs, study packs, and in any other material (including but not limited to multi-media works) and/or in virtual and managed environments (including but not limited to virtual learning environments, managed learning environments, virtual research environments and library environments) hosted on the Subscriber’s Secure Network, provided (1) that the materials are not sold in any form, (2) that the materials do not support ad revenue, (3) that the screen shots do not contain histology, CT, MRI, or cadaver slice images, (4) that the content includes “Image courtesy of Visible Body” displayed with the image or video, and (5) that the materials are circulated exclusively to instructors and students in the same course.

2.3 Subscriber and Authorized Users shall not, during the Subscription Period or thereafter:
2.3.1 remove or alter Argosy’s copyright notices or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear in the Visible Body software and content;
2.3.2 systematically make printed or electronic copies of multiple portions of the Visible Body software and content for any purpose other than those authorized under section 2.2;
2.3.3 display or distribute any part of the Visible Body software and content on any electronic network, including without limitation the Internet and the World Wide Web, other than a Secure Network;
2.3.4 permit anyone other than Authorized Users to access or use the Visible Body software and content;
2.3.5 use all or any part of the Visible Body software and content for the purposes of monetary reward (whether by or for Subscriber, an Authorized User, or any other person or entity) by means of license, sublicense, distribution, sale, rental, lease, loan, time-share, transfer, assignment, hire, or other form of exploitation of the Visible Body software and content; for the avoidance of doubt, the use by the Subscriber or by Authorized Users of the Visible Body software and content in course of research funded by a commercial organization is permitted under this Agreement and is not deemed to constitute use for the purposes of monetary reward; and the collection of tuition fees by the Subscriber or by its funding body or charging of Authorized Users by the Subscriber for recovery of costs or for use of the Subscriber’s libraries is also permitted under this Agreement and is not being deemed to constitute use for the purposes of monetary reward;
2.3.6 act as a service bureau or application service provider (ASP) that allows third party access to the Visible Body software and content;
2.3.7 modify, translate, decompile, nor create or attempt to create, by reverse engineering or otherwise, the Visible Body software and content, or any part thereof, or adapt the whole or any part thereof in any way, or use the Visible Body software and content to create a derivative work.

    Nutzung im Uni-Netz und mit Login für Mitglieder der Universität Freiburg
    Nutzung (lange Erklärung) Der Zugang ist innerhalb der Universitätsgebäude bzw. über das VPN des Rechenzentrums nur für Mitglieder der Universität Freiburg möglich, nicht jedoch für universitätsexterne Besucher der UB (Walk-in-User). Darüber hinaus können Mitglieder der Universität mit jedem internetfähigen Gerät mit ihrem Uni-Login auf diese Datenbank zugreifen.

    Bitte beachten Sie: Bei der Einwahl ins Uni-Netz über das VPN des Rechenzentrums dürfen keine Dienste oder Browserfunktionen zur Verschleierung der IP-Adresse verwendet werden. Diese behindern sonst den Zugriff auf die ausgewählten Datenbanken.

Für den Zugang zu "Visible Body Web Suite" ist die persönliche Registrierung bei Visible Body erforderlich.

Persönliche Registrierung bei Visible Body
Zur Registrierung sollten Sie sich im Netz der Universität Freiburg befinden (auch per VPN-Einwahl ins Uni-Netz möglich). Bei der Registrierung kann eine beliebige E-Mail-Adresse (also auch eine private) angegeben werden, die man später auch jedesmal beim Login verwenden will.
Für universitätsexterne Besucher im Gebäude der Universitätsbibliothek (Walk-in-User) ist die "Visible Body Web Suite" nicht zugänglich.

Mobile App
Nach dem persönlichen Login kann über Get Mobile App der Link zur App im App Store bzw. bei Google Play angefordert werden. Von dort kann die App heruntergeladen und installiert werden. Die App ist jeweils für 150 Tage mobil freigeschaltet. Sobald die App im Uninetz verwendet wird, verlängert sich die Freischaltung automatisch um weitere 150 Tage.
