Dokumentations- und Research-Tool für globale Theater- und Mediengeschichte.
Ziel dieser Datenbank ist die Entwicklung und Implementierung einer relationalen Datenbank auf Basis von Geo- und Chronoreferenzierung, um den globalen Austausch und die translokale Dynamik im Bereich des Theaters in der sogenannten ersten Phase der Globalisierung (1850-1920) besser zu erfassen, zu analysieren und abzubilden und so Theaterphänomene in ihrer Beziehung zur wirtschaftlichen und kulturellen Globalisierung weiter zu untersuchen.
