Das Künstler*innenlexikon Saar stellt in Artikeln mit Biografie, Werkauswahl, künstlerischer Einordnung und Literaturangaben Bildende Künstler*innen, Architekt*innen und Designer*innen vor. Aus der Vielzahl der künstlerisch arbeitenden Menschen an der Saar wurden für die Aufnahme in das Lexikon ca. 350 Künstler*innen ausgewählt, die in ihrer Kunstsparte öffentliche Anerkennung gefunden und in Werk und Lehre diese Kunstlandschaft geprägt haben und prägen.
