Der Deutsche Presserat (als freiwillige Selbstkontrolle der Presse in Deutschland) befasst sich u. a. mit Beschwerden über redaktionelle Veröffentlichungen in Zeitungen, Zeitschriften und von verlagsbezogenen Telemedien mit journalistisch-redaktionellem Inhalt (nicht: Rundfunk) und bewertet diese anhand des Pressekodex. Die Datenbank enthält diese Bewertungen seit 1985 im Volltext. Die Datenbank enthält auch den Pressekodex, auf den sich die Spruchpraxis bezieht.
