DBIS - Cochrane Library

The Cochrane Library is created by the Cochrane Collaboration, a global and independent association of scientists, doctors and other healthcare professionals.

It includes several databases:

Cochrane Reviews and Protocols
contains full-text systematic reviews and protocols of ongoing reviews that were created according to the Cochrane Collaboration methodology and are regularly updated. Each review evaluates the effectiveness of a medical intervention and summarizes the research results to date. The evidence from this database is also included in PubMed.
Trials
contains primarily evidence of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) or controlled clinical trials (CCTs) - a total of over 1.5 million. These are evidences of published articles, which are mainly drawn from PubMed and EMBASE and to a lesser extent from other sources (handsearching).
Cochrane Clinical Answers
contains summaries of selected Cochrane reviews
