Im Januar 2021 brachte ACS Publications ACS Au auf den Markt, neun neue Open-Access-Zeitschriften mit Schwerpunkt auf verschiedenen Bereichen der Chemie. Jede Zeitschrift erfüllt die strengsten Open-Access-Anforderungen, einschließlich der unter Plan S aufgeführten Anforderungen und der Anforderungen von Geldgebern, die eine Veröffentlichung in einer vollständig frei zugänglichen Zeitschrift verlangen.
