Key Documents of German-Jewish History, curated by the Institute for the History of German Jews (http://www.igdj-hh.de/igdj-english.html), is an online edition of selected historical sources on Hamburgâ€™s Jewish history from the early modern age to the present. Sources appear in transcripts as well as digital facsimiles and are presented with commentary and additional background information on their historical context. The source material is further enriched by information on its provenance, historical responses to it, and scholarly controversies. All content is provided in both German and English. The website further provides online exhibitions on several thematic aspects as well as teaching resources.
