Museum der 1000 Orte : Kunst am Bau im Auftrag des Bundes seit 1950

As a virtual art museum, the new information platform for art on the construction of the federal government has been opened since 1950 on June 21, 2017, developed on behalf of the Federal Ministry (BMUB) by the Federal Office of Building and Spatial Planning (BBR). Around 10,000 works in federal properties in Germany and abroad, which are often not publicly accessible or no longer preserved, are gradually included in the portal. Construction -related art of the GDR is also represented if it has been created for overall -state important institutions or for buildings that are used by federal institutions today. Each work of art is presented in the picture and text, a short vita of the artists, references and information about buildings and properties complement the offer.
