Folklore Europaea

Multimediale Datenbank zur Dokumentation von Festen, Bräuchen und Traditionen in den verschiedenen Regionen Europas. Ohne Vollständigkeit anzustreben, führt folklore europaea bislang weit verstreute Informationen zusammen und bietet durch vielfach kombinierbare Suchparameter Fachwissenschaftlern erstmals die Möglichkeit detaillierter Kulturvergleiche auf europäischer Ebene. Für die breitere Öffentlichkeit liefert das Projekt anhand von Texten, Bildern, Filmen und Tondokumenten anschauliche ethnographische Orientierungen und lässt sich nach dem Prinzip Was Wann Wo auch konkret touristisch nutzen.
