DBIS - Statista Consumer Insights

Statista's Consumer Insights (until 2022 and later: Statista Global Consumer Survey) examine the consumer behavior and media use of consumers worldwide in online and offline activities. The basis is more than 2,000,000 online interviews in 56 countries and regions. The basic version of the Global Survey will be conducted in 35 countries and regions and the Advanced Survey will be conducted in 21 countries. (As of June 2023).
For the Global Consumer Survey 2021, more than 400,000 consumers between the ages of 18 and 64 from 56 countries were surveyed. The subject was over 50 industries and topics from the online and offline world, divided into the following categories:

• Health
• Household equipment
• Internet & Devices
• Marketing & Social Media
• Media & Digital Media
• Mobility

Data on 11,500+ international brands was also collected. According to the provider, the results of the study are aimed at advertisers, planners and product managers and are intended to support analyzes of consumer behavior.

The 2020 Global Consumer Survey was conducted in 56 countries, including China, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Canada, Austria, Switzerland and the USA and the United Kingdom. You can get started via the respective country profiles.
In addition to the main study, exclusive additional data for selected countries (Content Specials) is available on key topics.
The data can be evaluated using an interactive online analysis tool (including simple tables, cross-tabulation, consideration of individual target groups) and exported in CSV (for further processing in Excel) or Powerpoint format. A direct comparison of different countries in the analysis tool is also possible. (As of: 04/2022)
