In the digital collections you can view digitized media from the specialist areas of ZB MED - Information Center for Life Sciences free of charge and download them as a PDF. The digitized collections are primarily copyright-free holdings up to around 1920. If copyright allows, current material is also digitized.

The following collections are currently included:

Library of the Lower Rhine Association for Public Health Care includes literature on medical hygiene from 1870 to 1914.
Apidologie collection currently includes part of the library of the Bonn beekeeper August Pollmann. This is followed by other suitable works from the field of beekeeping, both from our own and from other collections.
Balneology collection
Collection Dissertations and habilitations from ZB MED collection provides older, copyright-free university publications from the printed collections of ZB MED.
Midwifery collection also includes the work of midwives and obstetric nurses.

Collection of Physical Anthropology includes digitized material on the subject of physical and biological anthropology. The field only emerged in the 19th century, but the digitized publications also date from earlier centuries.

The von der Goltz collection includes the private library of over 700 titles belonging to Theodor von der Goltz, who was director of the Agricultural Academy in Bonn-Poppelsdorf from 1895 to 1905.
